Every too often I see celebrities and influencers posting pictures from an event they have been on, and most commons is that they post from their seating. I am always stunned by the gorgeous table settings, the flower arrangements, and what it seems expensively designed menus.
But then I see the placement card, and it all falls flat. Almost always is the name of the celebrity or influencer scribbled on a piece of paper with a sharpie or a ballpoint pen. Yes, probably by the staff member that has the nicest handwriting in the group. But my question is; why stop there? Why put all this money, time and effort into these gorgeously well-planned events, and not hire someone who is trained and experienced in writing beautifully? This is guaranteed to show your guests that you are putting all the effort into making your guests feel seen.

WHEN DO YOU NEED A CALLIGRAPHER?
Everyone loves handwritten envelopes and seeing their name in a beautiful script. I write envelopes, invites, thank you notes, gift cards, placement cards, and at in-store customer appreciation events. I also engrave on pretty much anything that can be engraved; wine- and champagne glasses, wine bottles, perfume bottles, etc. You should hire a calligrapher if you are looking to enhance your event; to add that feeling of luxury and exclusiveness.
